PASADENA, Calif.-For the second consecutive year, Tanner Research was named to the prestigious Deloitte & Touche "Los Angeles Technology Fast 50" list, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing high-technology companies in the area. A leading provider of microelectronic design software, products, and services, Tanner Research was named to the list in recognition of its outstanding growth over the past five years.

Founder and CEO John Tanner attributes Tanner Research's extraordinary growth to its ability to solve complex microelectronics problems, and in doing so solve customer's problems. The rankings are based on a company's percentage of growth in revenues in the five years from 1994-1998. To be eligible for the Los Angeles Technology Fast 50, companies must have had revenues of at least $50,000 in 1994 and at least $1,000,000 in 1998; must be headquartered in the area; and must be "technology companies" - defined as companies that produce technology, manufacture a technology product, are technologically intensive, use technology in problem-solving, or devote a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology.
