Tanner Research Named One of Los Angeles' Fastest Growing Private Companies

PASADENA, California - For the second year in a row, the Los Angeles Business Journal has named Tanner Research as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies. The L. A. Business Journal recently surveyed private companies of all kinds headquartered in Los Angeles County. They listed the top 100 of those that have been in business since January 1996 and had 1998 revenues of $5 million or more. They then ranked these companies based on their revenue growth over that 3-year period.

Inclusion on this select list reflects the rapid, yet sustained growth of Tanner Research over the last three years. Tanner Research has also been recognized for the past two years as one of the fastest growing technology companies by Deloitte & Touche Fast 50. In 1998, we ranked 24th in 5-year growth rate of all Los Angeles county-based technology companies both public and private. Candidates for these awards needed to be independent, technology-based businesses, with a minimum size, headquartered in Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, or Ventura counties.
