Tanner Research Captures Fast 50 Award for Fifth Consecutive Year

PASADENA, California -- August 26, 2002 -- For the fifth year in a row, Tanner Research has been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious "Technology Fast 50" program for the Los Angeles area, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the region. Inclusion is based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues during the five-year period from 1997 through 2001.

To determine the fastest growing technology companies, Deloitte & Touche's accounting experts review competing company's revenues for the past five years, calculate the growth percentage, and then compare the growth of all companies in the region.

To qualify for consideration, a company must have had operating revenues of at least $1,000,000 in 2001, must be public or privately held with headquarters in North America, and own proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues.
