desired, Manuflex offers standard cell arrays. This unique
approach involves the implementation of an array with features
that are specific to the customer's requirement. The standard
cell array offers the advantages of a full custom implementation
while maintaining the flexibility of a gate array for future
modifications and design changes.
For example, we have implemented standard cell arrays where
the periphery circuits are specific to the customer's application.
The custom periphery circuits can be optimized for the specific
application, while the digital/analog core maintains its gate
array characteristics.
