MCM Design Tools
Successful MCM design requires powerful tools. For example,
layout typically is dense, with several components packed
in a small area. Without adequate vias, an MCM will overheat.
Tanner's L-Edit/Therm, a module of Tanner Tools MCM Pro, performs
finite element thermal analysis to determine how heat will
be distributed. L-Edit/Therm, as well as the other modules
of Tanner Tools MCM Pro, are integral to Tanner Labs' MCM
research and development.
