Tanner Labs scientists and engineers have expertise in a
number of technologies, including custom ICs, multi-chip modules
(MCMs), micromachining, printed circuit boards, and software.
In addition to developing sophisticated systems based on a
single technology, we have also synthesized a variety of technologies
to produce innovative, seamlessly integrated systems.
Some of our more impressive integrated systems include our
reconfigurable computers,
our high-speed imaging
system, our camcorder,
and our digital video
recorder. MOICS,
an optical communication system that hinges on micromachining,
is another multi-technology system that is currently being
developed.
