ANALOG INTERFACES DEVELOPS ADVANCED IC SENSOR ELECTRONICS
PASADENA, Calif.A few miles north of Yellowstone National Park the Analog Interfaces IC design center specializes in mixed analog-digital CMOS chips and analog cells. Their work has resulted in full-chip and IP block solutions for both industry and government agencies, including notable customers Motorola, AMI, and Sandia National Laboratories.
Although their mixed-signal CMOS design expertise includes analog to digital converters, low-noise transimpedance amplifiers, and smart power circuits, Analog Interfaces is especially well known for their sensor technology. "Our design projects include focal plane arrays, micro-electro-mechanical sensors, and retina test chips," explains Dr. Donald Thelen, President. "Recently we completed a MEMS accelerometer design that yielded dramatic improvements in sensitivity."
"Tanner Tools are an excellent fit for both our full-custom IC and special function cell design projects," continues Dr. Thelen. "We use L-Edit for chip physical design, and rely on T-Spice for cell design and simulation down to the transistor level."
