Algorithms Scientist

Tanner EDA, a leading provider of integrated circuit design, verification and simulation software products, is looking for an outstanding Senior Scientist/Developer to work on our HiPer Verify product line. You will be member of a team of experts creating innovative algorithms for design rule checking (DRC), layout extraction, and layout versus schematic (LVS) products used in integrated circuit chip verification.

The candidate should have a strong background developing graph and geometric algorithms in large scale applications. Experience developing EDA algorithms in particular is highly desirable. Our environment is team-oriented, very technical and fast paced. You will have the opportunity to make immediate significant contributions to our products.

This position requires expert level C/C++ programming ability, STL experience, cross platform development ability and proficiency in large scale algorithm computing. Excellent communication and organization skills and the ability to effectively learn complex software are also required. Senior Windows Developer

Tanner EDA, a leader in electronic design automation software, is looking for an outstanding Senior Software Engineer. With over 20,000 licenses sold worldwide we are the leader in IC design on Windows. You will be a key contributor developing integrated circuit design software, enhancing the speed and capacity of our products and reducing our time-to-market.

You have the opportunity to immediately make a significant impact as we begin several new and exciting projects. Your initial contributions will be in core product areas such as high capacity databases and multi-user capabilities for our IC layout product, schematic entry software and key integration tasks.

A proven track record and expert level knowledge in Windows 2000/XP, including Visual C/C++, MFC, OOD, Windows API and DLL and Multi-Threading will more than qualify you for this position. Experience in graph or geometric algorithms and STL programming is a plus. You will quickly learn complex software and work in a world-class engineering team.
